Consult Point's Alex Gelman and Robert Samuel will be participating in the St Vincent de Paul Society's CEO Sleepout this year. The event takes place on the 17th of June, and participants sleep out in the open to raise awareness for the plight of the homeless. Alex and Robert will be undertaking the challenge this year, and will be asking for sponsors to raise money for this cause. All money raised goes directly towards the ongoing provision of Vinnies'
homeless services across the country.
$50 can provide a meal and educational resource for a disadvantaged child.
$100 provides bedding, a meal, and a fresh change of clothes for a homeless person for a night.
$500 provides another week at home for a family facing eviction.
$1,000 will enable a survivor of domestic violence, and their children to make the supported transition from a Vinnies refuge into
independent housing.
