As 2008 wound down, the ConnectCare project was featured in the Darling Downs local newspaper, The Chronicle. Consult Point is involved with ConnectCare along with Church Resources and a number of other organisations, funded by the Federal Government’s Clever Networks program. The article was reporting on ConnectCare and the future of rural aged care and the future of technology for this sector. Both the Toowoomba and Cunnamulla Churches of Christ Retirement Villages changes were discussed, and highlighted how the ConnectCare changes will positively affect services in this rural region.
