Consult Point wishes to congratulate our client Keith Merchant at the Salvation Army! The Salvation Army won the 2008 ACAA IT in Aged Care Award on the 18th of November for Keith’s Project with Consult Point to put in a new finance and care system to assist in the running of their aged care operations.
On the 6th of November Consult Point was part of Aged & Community Services Association of NSW & ACT’s Occupational Health and Safety and Human Resources Conference, “A Future with Fairness & Harmony?”, a conference discussing the Australia’s new industrial relations law and the role of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission. Our General Manager, Robert Samuel, presented a presentation entitled “Tomorrow’s Technology Today”, discussing the future of communications used in Aged Care.
Consult Point was also in attendance at the Aged Care Association Australia’s 27th Annual Congress on the 17th of November. Robert Samuel the General Manager of Consult Point, and Charles Wurf the Chief Executive Officer of ACAA NSW Corporate Services, co-presented a presentation entitled “Can small operators provide lessons for improving the bottom line? Is outsourcing the answer?”
